Box Tops

Earn cash for our school by clipping 10¢ Box Tops from hundreds of products and sending them to school with your child. Each Box Tops coupon is worth 10¢ and they add up fast! It is a very easy way for our school to earn the money we need. Thank you for your help.

T-shirts

Each child will be making two t-shirts this school year- a Christmas shirt and a tie-dye t-shirt in May. Please make sure your child brings in two plain white t-shirts to school by Wednesday, Dec. 10th. We will be wearing our Christmas t-shirt to breakfast with Santa on Dec. 17th.

Parent Report Day

Monday, September 8th (1:00-7:00 pm) is a very important day at Coosada!

I am looking forward to meeting with each of you on this day to discuss the progress of your child so far in first grade.

Confirmation times for parent report day went home Thursday in your child's daily folder. Please make sure you are on time for your meeting. Thank You!

Field Trip T-shirts

It is time to order field trip t-shirts.

The cost of the shirt will be $6.00 and is due by Tuesday, September 9th.

Checks can be made out to CES.

Library books and AR

Library books should now be coming home! I ask that each child read their book at least 3 times. After he/she has read it three times they will then be allowed to take an AR test and check out another library book. Please remember: "The more a child reads, the better reader they will become." :)

Great start to the new school year!

We have had a great start to our new school year. Please remember to check your child's daily folder each night and initial the behavior chart. Please remind your child to follow the three important school rules- respect yourself, respect others and respect property! Thanks to everyone who sent in school supplies and fees. I appreciate all of your help.

Open House

Open house will be held on Thursday, July 31st from 1-6pm. You may come any time between 1 and 6. Your child's classroom is located in the first grade yellow pod -rm. B113.

You should have received a supply list with your child's welcome letter. You may bring the supplies during open house or you can send them on the first day of school (Monday, August 4th).
